What is your choreography style?
Most of my rides are actually inspired by my outdoor runs. I bet you didn't know the Boston area was so hilly!
What is your playlist style/ favorite artists/ do you like remixes/ etc. ?
Anything with a good beat: new, old, pop, rap, hip hop its about being moved and pushed forward by the beat.
What is your ‘style’ to inspire riders to work hard?
Discovering what drives us from within. When class gets hard it's about taking a moment to remember why we showed up in the first place.
Why did you begin indoor cycling?
I had broken my foot in college and could no longer run. Indoor cycling provided that cardio burst I missed from not being able to run while being low impact as I healed.
What was your inspiration to teach indoor cycling?
Indoor cycling taught me that group exercise is just that, a group activity! It feels great leading people towards a common goal. Believe me, I feed off of your energy just as much as you feed off of mine.
What are your favorite sports/ exercises/ fitness related hobbies outside of cycling?
I'm a distance runner. I just completed my first marathon and already signed up for my next one.
What are your other hobbies/interests (non-fitness)?
Planning my next vacation and anything and everything Disney!
